Major Purpose Waratah Forestry Canada is seeking an experienced Field Service representative in Timmins, Ontario. This position provides startup and technical field support for our large dealer network and customer base in the region (Ontario and parts of northern Quebec). Major Duties: - Professional commissioning and start up (hydraulic, mechanical, automation) of new Waratah harvester processor heads sold in Ontario and parts of northern Quebec - Hydraulic and electrical troubleshooting of problems on Waratah processor harvesters in the field - Works with the logging contractors to assist with application and performance of Waratah product - Assists with demo operating and demonstrations of dealer owned Waratah product - Performs sales calls on logging contractors and dealers promoting Waratah product - Assists dealers with support issues, in field challenges, and warranty issues relating to Waratah QUALIFICATIONS: Required: - Strong French language skills. - Strong mechanical aptitude with field experience in forestry mechanics. - Solid understanding of hydraulics and electrical theory. - Willingness and ability to travel (approximately 75%) within the Quebec and Ontario regions on a weekly basis to meet operational business needs. - Ability to use Microsoft Office products plus intranet and internet functions. - Experience in woods safety and travelling safely in and out of logging job sites. Assets: - Minimum of 5 years' experience working in the logging industry or forest equipment industry. - Waratah operator experience 2-3 years min with proven work history (or equivalent processor brand). - 2-3 years mechanical experience on Waratah processors and harvesters. - Strong mechanical aptitude, strong troubleshooting skills, and experience working on equipment in the forest industry. - Forestry equipment background, hydraulics, electrical, and mechanical. - Ticketed Heavy Duty (HD) mechanic or equivalent in education/experience (not mandatory if suitable years of working experience with logging equipment). - Experience and knowledge of Ontario logging applications and practices.

Position: Resource Geologist Location: Matheson, Ontario (Black Fox Mine) Job Category: Full Time – Permanent (minimum 40 hours per week) Reporting to the Chief Geologist, the Senior Resource Geologist will liaise between the production geology team and the exploration team, to ensure that Mineral Resources are calculated using the highest quality geologic interpretation. He/ She will work closely with the engineering department in providing the resource model comprised of mineralization domains and a geological model for the reserve process. Primary Responsibilities Include: •Monitoring daily collection and interpretation of geological and assay data input to the block models at the Black Fox Mine and associated development projects. •Acting as the ‘QP’ (qualified person) as defined by NI43-101, execute, supervise where applicable, and co-author the mid-year, if applicable and year-end, Mineral Resource/Mineral Reserve report and supporting documentation for Black Fox Mine, development projects or other McEwen property resources as required. •Working in harmony with the Engineering group, performing and recommending the necessary grade interpolation and resource classification methodology inherent to the resource process at Black Fox, using industry and CIM Best Practice Guidelines, and conform to NI43-101 requirements. •Assist the production and exploration geology team goal of annually replacing resources and reserves and pursuing opportunities for resource growth. •Governance over leading industry best practises utilized at Black Fox; QA/QC in all aspects of the geologic process, from sampling, assaying and diamond drilling, to grade control and reconciliation. •Mentor the database, production and exploration geologists in the construction of digital wireframes, the essential building blocks to the geologic and orebody grade models; relevant QA/QC drilling and assaying leading industry practises. •Responsible for the continuous update of the Black Fox mine, Froome, Grey Fox, Black Fox property geological model and camp scale research geological model. •Work with the exploration geologists in developing reasonable geological models for resource development projects property wide and assist with M&A activities on behalf of McEwen Mining in the Timmins and Matheson camps. •Assist the exploration team in exploration and delineation drill targeting using the block model interpolation and classification to guide the upgrade of inferred to indicated resources. Qualifications and Skills Requirement: •A Degree in Geology with a minimum of five years’ combined production and exploration experience in Archean lode gold deposits, five years as a resource geologist in an underground and open pit scenario, Archean lode gold deposit preferred, and a registered Professional Geoscientist in the Province of Ontario. •A motivated, energetic, enthusiastic individual with strong leadership abilities: including good communication skills (both written and verbal), mentoring and coaching. •Experience in block modeling and geostatistics is required. •Experience in building mine scale to property or regional scale geological models using a variety of datasets, including but not limited to geophysical, geochemical, Lidar, remote sensing, mapping, and surface sampling. •A good working knowledge of: Microsoft Office, 3D mining software (Gemcom, Datamine or equivalent), 3D geological modeling software (Leapfrog, GOCAD or equivalent would be an asset); 3D wireframing, forward modeling of geophysics and experience working in a VR lab considered a definite asset.
