Job Opportunity Alamos Gold is currently recruiting the following position to join our team at the Young-Davidson Mine located in Matachewan, Ontario located approximately 60 km west of Kirkland Lake. Security Guard Date Posted: April 4, 2018 Closing Date: April 20, 2018 Reporting to the Security Superintendent, the Security Guard will be responsible for controlling access to the mine site, daily inspections and signing in of employees, visitors and suppliers arriving on site as well as other Security Guard duties. Key Qualifications Include: •Requires a valid Class G license •Possess a valid security guard license •Must be available to work weekends and nightshifts, independently •Willing to work Overtime •Previous training in First Aid and WHMIS would be an asset •Previous experience in related field is required The ideal candidate will be required to work on a 12-hour rotating shift schedule. The schedule could be subject to change depending on operational requirements of the Company.
